About Georgina

My name is Georgina. I am an experienced English teacher with over 6 years of professional experience in teaching and personal one-to-one tutoring, as well as skype tutoring. I offer online classes in English.

My professional interests in tutoring were sparked when I was in my final year of school. I volunteered to be a history and grammar teacher in a local children orphans' home. I discovered that I have a natural predisposition to teach people, and aid them in understanding complex learning material.

I passed my TOEFL exam to go and study in the United Kingdom, as I am originally Bulgarian. I passed the exam with flying colours, scoring 109 out of 120 points, which was the highest result amongst my peers.

I acuired my BSc (Hons) degree in Politics with Economics from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom in 2012. While still at university I opted for a few Academic English modules, as well as one Educational Psychology module. I started tutoring Polish workers in the town I lived, helping them clarify their grammar and pronunciation. Shortly after that, I completed my TEFL certificate, and got hired as a teaching assistant in a London secondary school. In the meantime I expanded my pool of students, flexibly integrating new technologies in my teaching.

 

Currently, I teach English online via Skype, ICQ or Google Hangouts.
